I love this wine, it goes so well with both summery and winter dishes. A perfect pairing to fermented vegetables too.

Orange wines once a novelty are now much available. This Orange is exceptional among the availability. It has an appealing bouquet followed by a handsome and enjoyable deep mouthfeel. There is a sweet citrus fruit character with a honeyed and lasting aftertaste.

I first met this wine in Ivano-Frankivsk in 2024 and have been pursuing it ever since; ordered some for Christmas, and for Easter, as it is very special and rises well to special occasions. Dark, rich, resonant, almost Greek in its tragic intensity; a wine-dark Black Sea of viniculture. Complex and heartening. Slava Ukraina.

Would definitely recommend it if you’re up for trying something a bit different and unique.

A very pleasant wine with a memorable aftertaste. This wine is worthy of being both a gift and for any occasion.

For those who like higher intensity whites, this is definitely one to try. Dry with good acidity, the nose is full of daffodils, jasmine, lemon zest, ripe peach and even guava. Multiple layers are gradually revealed on the palate - the fruits, as well as honey, hint of soft liquorice, finishing on savoury tones and accompanied throughout again by the zest and kumquat, suggesting perhaps some skin exposure (even though this is not the 'orange' version of the wine). The grape is described on the bottle as Traminer Rose; it is unclear whether this is Gewurztraminer or the non-aromatic Rose clone, as the nomenclature can be ambiguous and both are grown in Ukraine: there are no Gewurtz signature notes of lychee, yet the nose was at least semi-aromatic. A delicious, super interesting example to try!

A refreshing white wine, balanced and light with a hint of fruitiness in the finish.

I had this wine at an event and it was delicious. Gentle, beautiful aroma, and interesting tones. I'd say this will be perfect to enjoy over a meal with good friends who like red wines, so I'll be ordering some myself.

Indulging in this especial Orange wine is reaching back to the Graeco-Roman worlds of Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar. Their wines would have been stored in Amphora.These pottery vessels enhance fermentation and maturation. Such abilities are now being appreciated with Amphora Wines produced in growing quantities. This version uses a Rkatsitely varietal that is ideal for the Amphora grapes month-long skin contact. The results are an eye-appealing golden colour, smoky and spicy bouquet, tannic backbone and powerful aftertaste. KHAIRE as Alexander would greet the wine and SALUTE as would Julius Caesar!
