This engaging white varietal grape is Ukrainian indigenous, individual and intense. This intensity gives a compelling combination of pear and pineapple aromas and flavoursome fruity palate. With a gold-tinged colouration it has eye appeal. It can be drunk alone enjoyably but is an excellent food pairing. Low in oiliness fish such as Salmon and Smoked Haddock are ideal. It equally matches well with lighter meats as Veal and Chicken. This wine deserves international recognition

Really enjoyed this subtly flavoured, fresh and sharp wine with a very slight acidity, would be great for fish and white meat dishes but also passes as a drinking wine

Villa Tinta Premium Collection Irsai Oliver 2022
A bright zesty white wine from an indigenous grape variety. It is comparable to a more fuller-bodied Loire Muscadet, being ideal as a meal pairing for fish. Its freshness especially complements the nutty taste and flaky texture of such seafood choices as prawns, oysters and mussels. With citric and spicy flavours it is also a good accompaniment to chicken.

Beykush Pinotage 2023- we had as accompaniment to a Guinea Fowl which has white meat and delicate flavours. So the fruitiness and depth of the wine was ideal, being agreeably contrasting. There is enough softness and aroma, however, to make it very acceptable as a wine to be drunk on its own and not as an accompaniment.

Clean and refreshing with herbal characteristics that are very strong in the aftertaste. It's a perfect accompaniment to fish. This is particularly so with Mackerel. Being smoked, this is dark and oily and contrasts well with the refreshing qualities of the wine. Clean-tasting it's a good party wine also.

Enjoyably deep and complex version of this varietal. Purple in colour it has many qualities similar to a California Zinfandel. Strong notes of Summer Sun and Autumn richness. The mouthfeel is satisfyingly rich and the aroma is that of ripe berry fruits. It was an excellent accompaniment to an Oxtail meal where the meat, after hours of cooking, is succulent.

Ukraine Odessa Black 2019 Red Villa Tinta
This wine has much of the personality of its Cabernet Sauvignon grape basis with a concentration of phenolics. These give deep-red texture and blackcurrant colour and flavour.It seems an ideal accompaniment to medium-bodied red meats. It was a good tasting match for a Pork meal with cream sauce.

Not filtering results in an intriguing offering. The residual yeasts and grape particles give an individual texture and an intriguing taste. Sukholimanske is a native varietal that seems ideal for its purpose as it has richness in body and power in aromas. It was a fitting match with a Salmon dish as this is distinctively full of proteins and fatty acids.

An interesting version of an internationally popular grape. Enjoyable depth of grape fruitiness. This gives it a great mouthfeel and it was a fitting accompaniment to a highly flavoursome Haddock and Monkfish casserole.

Easy-drinking with pleasing cherry and citric notes. More of quaffing wine than one for food matching as its characteristics are light, bright and refreshing. Perfect as a glass to drink in a Pub.
