Rich and intense both in colour and flavour, fruity and slightly spicy, the wine retains a smooth drinkability. A worthy placing in the Top24 Ukrainian wines of 2024.

Excellent balance, good acidity and high but smooth, rounded and well integrated tannins; full bodied prunes, dried figs, vanilla, multi-layered with still some primary black fruits showing. Outstanding quality and excellent value for this classic Bordeaux style wine.

I took to drinking this wine nightly at a good restaurant along Nezalezhnosti Street in Ivano-Frankivsk during the wonderful Ukrainian International Shakespeare Festival in June 2024; dark, almost Greek, but smooth, balanced, complex. Absolutely delighted to be able to obtain it in England.

The Stakhovsky Wines Saperavi Ace 2021 is a very tasty wine. It is full bodies, without being too much of a mouthful and has a smooth fruity finish. I think it is like autumn in a glass - berries and cherries and all things yummy.
