Ukrainian Timorasso made by Beykush winery was presented in Piedmont

We had the privilege of presenting our exquisite wine, Lerici Al Mar Nero, at the exclusive "Derthona 2.0" event over the past weekend. This gathering, which was orchestrated by the Consortium Colli Tortonesi, celebrated the Timorasso grape, and we were proud to be the sole producer beyond the borders of Piedmont crafting wine from this remarkably high-acidity varietal.

Our presence was met with anticipation and enthusiasm, and we had the opportunity to sample over a hundred Timorasso wines, including a Ukrainian expression of the same grape. It was an enlightening experience, to say the least.

Our choice of "Lerici" as our wine's namesake pays homage to the historic Genoese fortress, a landmark adjacent to our winery's location dating back to the 14th century.

Our Timorasso 2021 vintage matured gracefully in French oak barrels for 15 months. Likewise, our 2017, 2019, and 2022 vintages enjoyed a refined aging of 12 months each. Select attendees were privileged to savor a glimpse into our inaugural vintage from 2017.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gian Paolo Repetto for extending the invitation and affording us the honor of showcasing Ukrainian craftsmanship on an international stage.
