The Masters of Wine have selected the top 12 Ukrainian wines.

Past month in Warsaw, a significant event for the Ukrainian wine industry brought together experts and enthusiasts to celebrate the excellence and potential of Ukrainian wines. Organized by Wines of Ukraine, the event took place on July 28-29 and featured a blind tasting of 91 wines by six distinguished Masters of Wine from the UK - Sarah Abbott, Richard Bampfield; Finland - Heidi Makinen; Germany - Caro Maurer; the Netherlands - Cees van Casteren; Poland - Wojciech Bonkowski.

Out of the 91 wines, the top 24 were selected to represent the best of Ukraine on both international and domestic markets. We are thrilled that nine wines from our portfolio were among the chosen few, with several making it to the shortlist:

• Cabernet Merlot Haute Gamme 2018  (Top 24 wines)

The event aimed to showcase the export potential of high-quality Ukrainian wines, promote Ukraine as a notable wine-producing country, and enhance the visibility of the Wines of Ukraine brand. It was supported by the international cooperation program "EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalisation," co-financed by the EU and Germany.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Wines of Ukraine and other organizers, the Masters of Wine were able to fully immerse themselves in the world of Ukrainian wines, providing genuine, independent assessments, and sharing valuable impressions and recommendations.
