Sukholimansky: Must-taste local grapes

Sukholimansky: Must-taste local grapes

Sukholimanskii is a uniquely Ukrainian grape, born from a cross between Chardonnay and Plavay, developed in the late 20th century by the Tairov Institute in Odesa.

In the Glass

Wines made from Sukholimansky are:

  •  Herbaceous with gentle pear and white flower aromas

  • On the palate: melon, white plum, and a hint of nutmeg

  • Finishing with a refreshing zesty acidity

Light, golden, and elegant — this is a wine that speaks of Southern Ukrainian terroir with every sip.
