Introducing Villa Tinta
Villa Tinta — the wines produced by Winehall Oksamytne, a family estate winery based in the village of Oksamytne (Bolgrad district, Odesa region), where 120 years ago was situated the Wine making Château of Count Davidoff. Villa Tinta is the company’s flagship wine brand, while they also produce Charmat sparkling wines under the brand name of Tintarella.
Their vineyards grow in the unique plots of the Danubian Bessarabia, the shores of which are washed by the Karakurt River on one side and Lake Yalpug on the other. The vineyards covering 500 hectares grow French and Italian white varieties produced from European clones: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, as well as reds: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bastardo and Saperavi.
The winery’s signature wines are from the local grapes: Sukholimansky (white) and Odesa Black (red). These varieties are unique and very important for the region. Production capacity: up to 1 mln bottles.
